Piano fantasy was in all its glory with this beautiful concert led by guest conductor Adam Kerry Boyles! The orchestra was in sync with pianist Quynh Nguyen on their remarkable execution of Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy, captivating the audience with every note. We were delighted to have composer Paul Chihara in attendance to enjoy the performance of his original piece Piano Concerto Fantasywritten for Ms. Nguyen, adding an extra layer of significance to the evening’s program. The Springfield Symphony Chorus, led by Nikki Stoia alongside the UMass Amherst Chorale under the direction of Reagan G. Paras, lent their voices to a deeply meaningful selection of pieces in the second half of the concert, leaving everyone with unforgettable musical memories.
