Become An Individual Donor

Annual Fund donations provide vital support for The Springfield Symphony Orchestra, from beautiful performances to high-quality music education. The SSO welcomes gifts in any amount, here are just some ways to make your individual donation special:

Honor/Memory: Any giving level

Celebrate special occasions or recognize the significant role the SSO has had during a person’s lifetime. When you make an honorary or memorial gift, we will notify your honoree or the person’s family.

Friend — $50-$124:

Become a Concert Sponsor

The Springfield Symphony Orchestra offers a variety of concert sponsorship opportunities that provide corporations and foundations with tremendous value, engaging client entertainment opportunities, and exceptional branding positioning. We work to ensure a personalized sponsorship package that is the best fit for your organization.

Planned Giving

When you include a gift in your estate plan, you are enabling the SSO to perform at the highest level of artistic excellence for years to come and to enrich, serve and shape cultural life throughout the spectrum of Western Mass communities.

IRA Charitable Contribution

Individuals over the age of 70½ can make up to $100,000 tax-free distribution from their IRA to qualified public charities annually. Qualified charitable distributions from your IRA for 2022 are possible by making distributions before December 31, 2023. Learn More

Beethoven’s Buddies

The Springfield Symphony Orchestra is proud to launch Beethoven’s Buddies, a program funded by individual and corporate donors committed to ensuring generations to come will have the incredible experience of live music. Each donation to Beethoven’s Buddies will provide tickets to area schools and other non-profit organizations that support underserved children in Western Massachusetts. Your support helps to grow the next generation of musicians and music-lovers and provides an educational community experience.
