Vienna Adventure Raffle – Canceled
Thank you to those of you who participated in our Vienna Adventure Raffle this season, purchasing tickets for the drawing that was to be at our final concert on May 9th. As you no doubt are aware, due to the current crisis here in Massachusetts and across the country, the SSO had to cancel the remaining shows of our season, including our season finale. And, due to the global impact of this pandemic, many of the essential elements of the Vienna trip are no longer viable. It would be in no one’s interest – and to no one’s benefit – to proceed with our raffle drawing at this time. Additionally, with the near future still unclear regarding entertainment gatherings and international travel, simply delaying the drawing seems unwise as well.
In cooperation with the State of Massachusetts and in accordance with Lottery Commission guidelines, we have CANCELED our Vienna Raffle drawing, and every raffle ticket holder has two (2) options to choose from:
- You can DONATE your ticket purchase to the SSO, and we will in-turn acknowledge the gift accordingly and provide you with a tax-deductible receipt for your very generous gift
- You can request a REFUND of your ticket purchase
Whichever you choose, please email John Anz, Development Director, to inform us of your choice so we can resolve this issue for you in the most timely manner.
