Music in the Mountains Schedule

Friday, July 19 | Day One  
Our group will transfer to our hotel and settle in.  You are within walking distance of town and may want to explore on your own this afternoon.

This evening join us for cocktails at TBD. We will be greeted by a member of the Aspen Historical Society who will provide a brief introduction to this mountain town.  

Transfer TBD for our opening concert. A light, post-concert dinner will follow. Throughout our visit we will arrange restaurant reservations for the group as noted. The cost for the dinners is not included and will be paid locally by each guest (cocktails reception included).

Saturday, July 20 | Day Two
After breakfast consider a morning hike, yoga class, a visit to the Aspen Farmer’s Market or a bike ride. These optional activities can be arranged in advance or once you arrive. Our group will attend the Listener’s Master Class today at 12:30 p.m.

Later we will gather at TBD for a backstage tour.  This evening the group will attend the Aspen Symphony Orchestra at 6:00pm. Join us for a light, post-concert dinner (breakfast included).

Sunday, July 21 | Day Three

After breakfast our group will attend a morning dress rehearsal of this evening’s performance.  Later, join our group for a docent lead visit to the Aspen Art Museum. Tonight join us for cocktails and canapes and an exclusive concert performed by students from the Aspen Music School. Balance of the evening and dinner at your leisure. (breakfast/ exclusive cocktail event included)

Monday, July 22 | Day Four

Today is a full day at leisure. Consider any number of activities from the 12-mile (downhill) bike ride on the Rio Grande Trail, to a morning horseback ride or a stroll through the local galleries. You may also want to attend a seminar or art conversation at the nearby Anderson Ranch. Evening activities can range from a performance of the Aspen Ballet to the Theater in the Park or check out Belly Up Aspen for a twist to the week’s vibe! (breakfast included)

Tuesday, July 23 | Day five

After breakfast spend the morning at leisure. Later, you may want to attend an Opera Scenes Master Class. Or, explore the galleries and shops in town. Tonight, join our group for cocktails and our last performance at the Aspen Music Festival. Following the performance we will toast our journey at our post-concert farewell dinner. (breakfast, cocktail reception included)

Wednesday, July 24 | Day Six

Morning at leisure.  Depart for the airport in the late morning for your flight home (breakfast included).
