Get ready to celebrate the “Sounds of the Season” with the Springfield Symphony Orchestra and Chorus. Join us as we highlight all of the exciting musical sounds of the holidays: from Michael Lynche’s soulful R&B versions of Christmas classics, to beautiful Hannukah melodies, to the orchestral magic of Tchaikovsky; from the incredible brass of a Sousa-inspired march, the sweeping strains of a hit holiday film score, to choristers raising their voices in timeless carols. This year’s concert will also feature talented singers from the Extended Family Choir and high school choral students from Springfield Conservatory of the Arts. Also expect the ever-popular audience sing-a-long and a special visit from Santa Claus. Don’t miss this unforgettable evening with the SSO and Chorus—and let the sounds of the season inspire joyous and peaceful holidays.
