Bringing Communities Together

The shared experience of listening to live music can work wonders on the body and mind. Beyond the health benefits, it can also bring communities together. At the Springfield Symphony Orchestra, building a stronger community through music is our passion. While extraordinary circumstances have caused a pause between the notes, it’s only temporary. The resilience of our community inspires us every day. Our spirits are strong, our future is bright, and we look forward to welcoming you back soon!

We asked Principal Oboe Nancy Dimock to tell us what live orchestral music means to her and to our community:

“Live orchestral music is nurturing, energizing, consoling, and healing. More than ever, we need that in our community!”

~ Nancy Dimock, Principal Oboe

When the Orchestra returns, your seat will be waiting!
