Music of the Ballet
Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 8 PM
Kevin Rhodes, Conductor
Maestro Rhodes brings us to the world of ballet, from the drama and beauty
of Coppelia to the wild power of the Sabre Dance and the fun of Stravinsky’s
showpiece, Petroushka. Then the Maestro’s own suite from Sleeping Beauty draws
out the lesser-known side of Tchaikovsky, as dramatist.
