Yevgeny Kutik, Violin

Exciting young Russian/American violinist Yevgeny Kutik makes his SSO debut, setting the stage on fire with the pyrotechnics of the dazzling Prokofiev Violin Concerto No. 2. On this night, you will also hear Beethoven’s Symphony No. 4. Hector Berloiz was so enamored with the second movement he claimed that it was the work of Michael the Archangel!
