PRINCIPAL VIOLA
on September 6, 2011
One-year position with possibility for permanent employment, if the musician taking the sabbatical does not return.
The winner of the audition must be available to play all or most of the 2011-12 Season.
2010-11 Rates:
$233.12 performance
$49.34 rehearsal hour
Per-service orchestra with 6 classicals, 4 pops, youth, summer season of concerts at Berkshire Choral Festival, possibility of run-outs, additional pops, ensemble work. Travel & Per Diem as per Master Agreement.
2011-12 rep includes:
Shostakovich 5, Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto 3, Beethoven 7,
R. Schumann 2, Holst The Planets, Bolcom Prometheus

Should a current member of the orchestra win the position, the runner-up may be offered the resulting vacancy for the one-year position.
